ANGST, and for an almost-decent reason

So uuh.
My laptop died.
I sold about $100 at the anime con, but the profit I made from that was... maybe twenty dollars? ARGH. This won't cover anything. Succcck

Anyhow, I now have no laptop. meaning I can't watch any DVDs, can't access the internet whenever I please, I can't scan stuff and upload it, and I can't use AIM to talk to my friends.
DAMN IT. My laptop was my baby ;; and I'm sure my brother had something to do with its demise, as he was using it most of yesterday (despite my telling him NO because he kept doing things that made it run slow and freeze up). But, of course, my parents won' make him replace it or pay to have it fixed because he was responsible for it since he used it last. I think I need to go punch a baby now. ARRRGH!

Needless to say I am depressed and displeased with my family in general. I am going to use my alloted time on my mom's laptop to listen to heavy metal (it helps when I'm depressed, haha) and pray and hope my best friend gets on AIM express soon. I need some srs <3 right now that only Deathie can give me.


/SOME/ GOOD NEWS THOUGH: I won 2nd place at a mascot contest they were having at the AAF. So I got this little bag of art stuff and bragging rights, I guess.

yes you can has a commission. Lord knows I still need the cash (trying to raise enough to take my laptop to the computor doctor... it died ;_; *emooooed*)

ALSO, how'd you get prints of your art, if you don't mind me asking? I want prints next time I go to a con :3

There's little print shop in Springdale that will make really good prints for really cheap called Spencer Prints, that's where I get all my stuff made. It costs 40 cents for an 8x11 and 80 cents for and 11x17, most printing places charge $1+ for an 8x11 and $2 for an 11x17. There's also a Wal-Mart of Kelly Highway near Fort Smith that does 20x30's for about $12.

Don't ever go to Kinkos, they charge you out the wazzoo for poor quality stuff. They wanted to charge me $90 for a 20x30 and I think their rates are $15 per square foot. I got 60 prints at Spencer for the same amount I got 9 sticker sheets at Kinkos for. D8

By they way, are you going to be at any other cons this year? I think Tokyo in Tulsa and Ravenwood still have a few booths o:
